How do I add team members with a Squarespace plan?
If your subscription is managed through Squarespace, you'll need to cancel it there and create a new account here before you can add team members.
Team access on Squarespace plans
If your subscription is managed through Squarespace, you can't create a team on that plan.
To add team members, you'll need to cancel your Squarespace-managed subscription and then purchase a new account here through Stripe.
How to switch from Squarespace to Stripe
- Go to will-myers.com
- Log in using the link in the top right
- Click the Manage Subscription button next to Code Curious
- Cancel your account
- Purchase a new account here through Stripe
We'll prorate you the difference, but we can't do this automatically, so please get in touch with us once you've signed up with your new account.
Adding team members after switching
Once your new Stripe-managed account is active:
- Go to Your Team in your account settings
- Enter the email address of the person you'd like to invite
- Click Send Invitation
Each team member you add increases your subscription by one seat. Your team members will receive an email invitation and can accept it from their Additional Teams page.
What team members get
- Access to all plugins the team owner has purchased
- Their own Robo-Will credits (individual allocation, not shared)
- Their own login and account settings
FAQ
Can I add team members without canceling Squarespace first? No. If your subscription is managed through Squarespace, you'll need to cancel that account and sign up here through Stripe before team features are available.
Will I lose money if I switch mid-cycle? No. We'll refund you the prorated difference after you've signed up with your new Stripe account, but you'll need to contact us because we can't apply that automatically.
Where do I cancel my Squarespace subscription? Go to will-myers.com, log in from the top-right link, click Manage Subscription next to Code Curious, and cancel your account there.
