Referral Program Transition Guide
How to set up your referral account on the new Toolkit site to keep your tracking working during the transition.
I'm moving my membership fully over to the toolkit.will-myers.com website, fully off Squarespace. My plugin purchases will remain where they are for the time being.
All of the content for the membership is already over on the Toolkit, but now the purchasing & subscribing will be as well. Because Peachs (my current affiliate platform) only works on Squarespace, I've had to build my own referral tracking system for the new site. That means for a period of time, affiliate sales for the membership will process over on my new system, and plugin sales will still process through Peachs.
To keep your tracking working across both, create a referral account using the same code.
Setup Instructions
-
Find your affiliate code in your Peachs Dashboard. Copy your affiliate link — your code is everything after
peaches_apc=in the URL. If you need to reset your password, do that here. -
Create an account (or log in to your account) on The Toolkit's referral program page. If you don't have an account, no need to purchase a membership — you can skip past that step. The email you use here doesn't have to match your Peachs email.
-
When choosing a referral code, use that exact same code from Peachs.
After this, you are good to go!

Important Details
This ensures your links will work on both sites during the transition. You'll also notice that the new referral system requires 2 purchases via your referral link to start earning commissions. You're grandfathered into the program, so no need to reapply or worry about getting approved.
Do I need to update every link on my website & socials?
Not right now. Your Peachs referral code will also set your new code if they are the same. And your new code will set your Peachs code. They're both dual-compatible. Just be sure you're using the same code in the steps above.
A heads up about Peachs links
Down the line, I might be cancelling my Peachs account, and any affiliate links that use the https://will-myers.peachs.co/a domain would then stop working. Search parameters will continue to work.
If you've set up your affiliate links using URL redirects (e.g. a /affiliates/will-myers page on your site that redirects to the affiliate URL), this will be an easy switch — you'd just update the redirect destination in one place. If you haven't set those up yet, now's a great time. It means any time an affiliate program changes, you update one URL mapping instead of hunting down every link across your site, emails, and socials. Here's an older video on how I recommended setting this up with Peachs..
I'm not planning on cancelling Peachs anytime soon, and when I do, I'll be sure to give you at least 2 months heads up.
